What is this?
Between December 1st and April 1st, the City of Chicago institutes a winter parking ban on many major streets. In certain cases, the ban becomes effective when there is 2 inches of snow fall, in other cases cars may not park overnight anytime during this period.
This map highlights streets where parking restrictions exist. Blue lines indicates 2" snow enforcements and red lines for overnight parking bans.
You may also register for text alerts to find out when the 2" ban goes into effect.
